Adam Smith began working for Whole Foods Market in 1999, after graduating from the Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park, New York and spending 15 years in the restaurant industry. As an Executive chef, running kitchens in Los Angeles, Santa Barbara, San Francisco and Aspen, he was an early advocate of seasonal “Farm-to-Table” cuisine.
