Marc Aust is the Vice President of Operations Services for Burger King U.S. and Canada, overseeing operations innovation, training, execution and brand standards from the brand’s Royal Innovation Center in Miami, FL. Marc is a true operator and innovator at heart, and is a key part of the multi-year turnaround strategy at BK, working closely with Burger King Franchisees to “Reclaim the Flame”: serving gold-standard flame-grilled Whopper sandwiches, remodeling and modernizing restaurants, and improving the Guest experience and Franchisee profitability through better operations and innovation.
Marc has spent his entire career in operations and first joined Restaurant Brands International to lead Operations Innovation for Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen, where he spearheaded the development of the “Easy to Run” kitchen which is currently rolling out across the US & Canada. Prior to RBI, he held a variety of roles at Domino’s. He got his start running restaurants in Miami, before moving to Europe to support Domino’s growth overseas. He’s motivated by making Team Members lives easier, improving outcomes for Guests and driving profitable growth for Franchisees.
