David is Head of Global Design & Architecture for the Burger King Corporation (part of Restaurant Brands International), based in Miami, FL. In this role he leads the innovation of the Burger King brand’s future restaurant designs globally, by supporting the regional and local teams implementing strategic initiatives, to create outstanding stores that uphold the Burger King Restaurant Image and Guest Experience.

Born in Wales, raised in Scotland, David graduated from the Charles Rennie Mackintosh School of Architecture in Glasgow, Scotland.

He has lived and worked in a number of diverse cultures and countries around the world including the UK, South Africa, Hong Kong, Mainland China. Prior to joining Burger King, David held senior retail design and construction positions with L Brands, Starbucks International and TGI Fridays and Wendy’s.

A past Secretary of the Cincinnati Chapter of the Retail Design Institute, David is also a member of the Editorial Advisory Board of VM+SD magazine.
